The other character is a much older concept of my other main mail character, Den. They're supposed to be spiritual polar opposites. Shiden being the more demonic / bloody character with black hair, and Den (who no longer also has black hair) being an archangel of types with white hair and often seen surrounded by fire or wearing it.

Baptism through fire.
