June 2006 comment: Since this has received a decent amount of faves and keeps getting viewers, I figure I may as well fill in the background of what happened with this.

Dreamwave Productions contacted me and said they like my coloring quite a bit, but I was working full-time at the time and didn't have the time to color up the test pages they sent me, so I didn't get hired. Soon after that DW disbanded (about 4 months later). The End.

This does not belong in the Fan Art center, because it's not fan art ;o. It's a coloring of a page penciled by Pat Lee from Dreamwave Productions. It's a contest to in search of finding a new colorist for the company.

Hmmm... dunno. I'm talkin about a contest as in where REAL artists participate... such as those that have already been colorists for comics already. My chances are slim to none.

but the thing is people are always looking for new potential. Put that out there and i dont think many would be a able to tell the difference between yours and a true proffesional's, i certainly didn't, in some aspects it looks better, there's more graduation of colour then in some of the comics i've looked at. You defiantely have talent to be picked up on and even if you dont win you may always turn some heads in your direction

Great work love the reflections on the floor in the first box and the use of green. All great, nice lighting and textures my only crit is the hand on the rock, they are the same colour.. is it meant to be like this?
